たくさんアメリカのシットコムを見てたように思う。
ー まず、あなたの生い立ちを教えて下さい。
Can you tell us about yourself?
「僕の名前はVictorで、メキシコシティ出身なんだけど、今はニューヨークを拠点にしている。僕の主な仕事はアートディレクション、そして僕のブランドBARRAGÁNのフォトグラフィーだよ。」

「My name is Victor I'm from Mexico City currently based in NYC, my principal work is fashion and the art direction, photography of my brand @barragannnn.」
ー いつからファッションに興味を持ち始めましたか？
When did you get interested in fashion?
「子供の時から、ファッション関連のテレビやたくさんアメリカのシットコムを見てたように思う。工業デザインを勉強していたんだけど、最初の学期の後やめて、僕自身のytinifninfinityっていうプロジェクトに集中することにしたんだ。」

「I feel since I was a kid I start watching FashionTv and so many American Siticoms I was studying industrial design and after the first semester I quit to start focusing on my own project first named ytinifninfinity.」
What do you keep in mind when you are making pieces of your collection?
「基本的には、周りの物と自由に戯れるような、力強くて大胆なものを作るようにしているよ。」

「My principal idea is make strong and confident looks feeling free to play with everything around.」
ー ytinifninfinity と BARRAGÁN の違いは何ですか？
You work with people like Étienne Saint-What's the difference between ytinifninfinity and BARRAGÁN?
ytinifninfinityは、その瞬間の新しいファッションやアイデアにフォーカスした、ブランドの次の段階までの経験と練習だった。 BARRAGÁNは純粋なアイデアを表現していて、ytinifninfinityはそれに伴うB面で僕のパーソナルなムードボードだね。

「ytinifninfinity was a practice and experience for the next phase of the brand where we focus new ideas and a new idea of fashion at the moment ytini.... is my personal mood board and the b-side with raw ideas of BARRAGÁN.」
■ ここで生活をするのは
とても刺激的であると同時に、難しくもあるね。
ー ニューヨークを拠点に活動されていますが、 あなたにとってニューヨークはどういう街ですか？
You are based in New York. What does the city mean to you?
「僕と僕の友達はこの街を大人のためのディズニーランドのように感じてる。常に何かが起こってるんだ。みんな常に用事に走ったり、働いたり、夜遅くに寝たり。ここで生活をするのはとても刺激的であると同時に、難しくもあるね。」

「Me and my fiends feel this city is a Disneyland for adults is always something going on.... you are always running errands, working, sleeping late, live here is really inspiring and so hard as the same time.」
ー NAAFI との関係性を教えて下さい。
How do you and NAAFI relate to each other?
「僕たちは同じメキシコシティの友達で、協力し合ったり、コラボレーションしたりしてるよ。僕たちはメキシコという国から、たくさんの似たインスピレーションを感じているんだ。」

「We are friends from Mexico City and we been supporting and collaborating together we feel so much similar inspirations from Mexico.」
ー ファッション以外に興味のあることはありますか？
What are your interests apart from fashion?
「パフォーマンス、現代芸術、フォトグラフィーといった、クリエイティブな表現方法なら何でもだね。」

「Performance, contemporary art, photography any kind of creative expression, as the same time our brand is always supporting experimentation at the moment of using materials or styling .」
「ファッションもアートや音楽と同様に、カルチャーや多様性が影響し合って新しい何かを作っていくと信じているよ。」

「As the same of fashion, art or music I believe in the blend of influences, culture and diversity to create something new.」
ー 音楽に興味はありますか？ あるとすれば、どういったものに興味がありますか？
Do you have an interest in music? If so, what kind?
「僕は色んなジャンルが好きだね。トラップ、ハウス、ラップ、R&B、ジャズ、パンクなどなど。何かに固執することはしない。踊れさえすればそれで満足なんだ。」

「I honestly like so many different things. I like music of any kind trap, house, rap, r&b, jazz, punk...etc i don't close myself if something make me dance or move im happy with that.」
