With the release of Yen Tech's SILO clothing line, which is showing multiple movements such as the release from SVBKVLT and the launch of SILO, we conducted an interview! I was given a peek into the Akashic Records in his brain.
■ Yen Tech is a project I created one day to explore the concepts of perfection and failure.
- First of all, please tell us about your background and the origin of the artist name Yen Tech.
First of all, please tell us about your background and how you came up with the artist name Yen Tech.
"I was born in the city of Philadelphia during a record winter. From there I moved to Chicago, New York, and most recently Shanghai. Yen Tech decided one day to explore the concepts of perfection and failure. It's a project I created. I gradually got into it and now it's part of my life."

"I was born in the city of Philadelphia during the harshest winter on record. From there I moved to Chicago, New York, and most recently Shanghai. Yen Tech is a project I created one day to explore concepts of perfection and failure. I' ve slowly become entangled within it, and it has now become a part of my life.”
- Starting from this time, RADD LOUNGE will also start handling it.
Please tell us how and why you launched the multimedia platform SILO.
We will be starting to carry your work at RADD LOUNGE from this time on. How and why did you start SILO, a multimedia platform?
“Thank you for the partnership. I am so excited. SILO is not exactly a brand or a platform, but a continuous work that evolves into the unknown. It is a vessel for mixing together collaborative ideas – dispelling mistrust and considering the future together. Everyone is welcome to participate.”

It is a container to mix collaborative ideas - to dispose of mistrust and examine the future together - with humor, introspection, and elegance. Anyone is welcome."
■ Technology moves us forward, but
At the same time it allows us to dissolve and forget ourselves.
- It seems like your songs use cutting-edge technology for the listener, such as actively incorporating ASMR* and AI language models, and are searching for mezzotto to bring out the body's inherent potential. Are you particular about frequency or vibration?
Your music seems to be exploring the mesos (clues) to bring out the true potential of the body by using cutting-edge technologies for the listener, such as ASMR (autonomous sensory climax response with hyperbolic function) and AI language modeling. Are you particular about frequencies and vibrations?
“The mezzo as a kind of cue is a great concept.I think I'm primarily interested in memory, the body, technology as a form of externality in many ways.Sonic and vibration... , Parallel to this techno-society, it is also a question of relationships and resonance: technology offers us new ways of being, but at the same time it has the potential to degrade and dissipate to the outside world. It's also hidden."

"That's a great concept, the mesos as a type of clue. I guess I'm mainly interested in technology as a form of exteriority - of memory, the body, and the multitude. Sonics and vibrations parallel this technosociality - both are a question of relations and resonance. Technology affords us new modes of presence, but also the potential to degrade and dissipate into the external.”

*ASMR....Hyperbolic autonomous sensory climax response.
*Mesos.... An area covered with snow and ice on the surface of a floating continent. Pirates are setting up a base.
■ I try to constantly examine my point of view and change it if I start to feel that it is too condensing the current culture and my place within it.
- Currently, paradoxes are occurring in various fields. All people have their own version of justice, and people reject justice that does not align with that while remaining cognitively dissonant. This is a trend that continues to polarize, but I have seen interviews in various media. This gives the impression that you are looking at things from a bird's-eye view and are acting as a calm judge from above. What process did you go through to develop this perspective?
Currently, paradoxes (contradictions) are occurring in various fields. We are currently experiencing a paradox in various fields, where everyone has his or her own righteousness and rejects those that don't match it, leaving cognitive dissonance. I get the impression that you have a bird's eye view of things and make calm judgments from an angle. How did you develop this perspective?

“Thank you for your kind words. My music sometimes plays with existing forms, but I always examine my point of view and feel that it is too condensed of the current culture and my place within it. I make these creative choices methodically, but not always calmly, and also in a tumultuous unconscious state. This can lead to unexpected results.”

“Thats a compliment, thank you. Although my music sometimes plays with existing forms, I try to examine my perspective - and change constantly when it begins to feel too much about aggregating a current culture, or my place within it. I do make these creative choices methodically, but also in states of mayhem and unknowing ? not always calmly. This can lead to generative and unexpected results.”
- Please let me know if there are any ways to increase work engagement in creating works and work.
Please also include your daily routine.
What methods, if any, do you use to increase work engagement in your artwork and work?
Please also include any routines that you follow on a daily basis.

“My work is ultimately about examining ourselves and our psyches, so I think learning to let go of fear and anxiety is something that anyone who wants to create can do. I try to stay active and disconnected from technology every day.I try to play basketball every day, even if I'm bad at it, and sometimes I do some traditional farming with razor-sharp axes, saws, and shiny sickles. Yes, that effort helps me concentrate at work.”

I try to be active and disconnected from technology each day to help this. I try to play basketball everyday, even though I'm not very good, and sometimes I do traditional farm work, using razor sharp axes, saws, and glistening scythes. The labor of these efforts help focus my work.
If you were to start a non-music company in the future, what type of business would you like to start? Please also tell us why.
“I have secretly wanted to become a therapist for some time. I am interested in the fluctuations and instability of the mind, including those of myself and those around me.”

"I've always secretly wanted to be a therapist. I'm interested in the turmoil and instability of minds, including my own and those around me."
- Please tell us your values of money and assets, and your definition of wealth.
What is your definition of wealth and the value of money and assets?
“Earning money is easy for some people, and difficult for others. This should not determine how rich your life is, but unfortunately it does.”

- Last but not least, thank you very much for this interview. Is there anything you can tell me about your current or future projects?
Finally, thank you very much for this interview. Is there anything you would like readers to know about any current and/or upcoming projects?
“Thank you IRIKI for inviting me to RADD LOUNGE. I will be doing some performances in Europe soon. In the meantime, I will be moving to New Jersey and completing various projects. These will be completed as performances, video works, and sculptures. There's a good chance you will. Maybe you'll be able to see or hear them."
